Nocturne

Sometimes it happens!
A night emerges from the urn of desolate memories;
mummering moon, quivering stars and
distant rhymes of living fables;
come down to me, by my bedside;
where the clock tickles without any grievances;
keeping up with time;
The time – measuring the existence,
even of those ceased to exist.
Impalpable wings pass by my window-sky;
a sky full of stars yet so lonely.
Perhaps like a mirage, an identikit;
drawn by the echoes of solitary nocturne,
emanated from the distant stars,
like an ode to my soul --
for the eyes I once kissed;
in the dreams of monological happiness.
